Radioactive Waste Management Experimentalist/Assessor
You will work in a team who provide waste management advice including feasibility/option studies, waste package performance assessments and project management. Day to day, you will undertake and manage experimental and assessment projects and tasks in the area of radioactive waste management and be involved in waste management projects that require high quality science, creative thinking and excellent organisational and communication skills. Your work will be varied and it will include desk and practical assessment tasks. Your qualifications should include a degree in an appropriate science, engineering or environmental discipline. You will have relevant practical experience in cement chemistry and/or waste treatment or packaging technology. Knowledge and/or experience in radioactive waste treatment and packaging technology is desirable. |
Senior/Principal Radioactive Waste Management Consultant
You will be expected to take a major role in the development of potential WMT business in the ILW retrieval, treatment and packaging market. You will contribute significantly to the preparation of proposals for large projects. You will be expected to establish high-level contacts with our customer commercial and technical staff. You will manage and deliver projects in radioactive waste management. You will work within a team of senior and principal waste management consultants. Your qualifications should include a degree in an appropriate science, engineering or environmental discipline. You will have relevant commercial and technical experience in radioactive waste management/nuclear clean up. Experience in waste retrieval, treatment and packaging technology is desirable. |
Senior/Principal Radiochemistry Consultant
You will provide consultancy pertaining to all aspects of the radiochemical analysis of materials from nuclear clean up (environmental, decommissioning/operational nuclear wastes). You will provide technical advice to our analytical chemistry team. Your role will involve developing the market for radiochemistry services. Your qualifications should include a degree in chemistry and possibly a postgraduate qualification in radiochemistry. You will be expected to have experience of wet chemistry techniques pertaining to radiochemical analysis, method development (R&D), radiometry (alpha, beta and gamma spectrometry), and project management. |
Business Analyst
The Business Analyst is responsible for the management accounts and providing accurate, timely and relevant management/financial accounting information and support to the Finance Director and WMT Business Management Team. The objective being to optimise financial performance; enhance profitability; maximise Cash flow; and support the development of Business opportunities. In addition the successful candidate will supervise/manage the local finance team to ensure they perform their activities/duties/functions in a timely manner, ensuring that they are suitably trained, motivated and qualified to contribute to the effective performance of the finance function.
